Next, your dentist will prepare the veneer and the tooth for bonding with dental cement. A special light will then help permanently secure the bond.

It is not uncommon to be sensitive to hot and cold items soon after getting veneers. This sensitivity typically lasts only a few days. Your dentist might require a third visit about a month from the date of installing your veneer to evaluate the condition.
