Doctor of Dental Medicine
The oldest of nine children, Dr. Leardi grew up in Springfield, PA (Delaware County). He graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Villanova University in 1989. Dr. Leardi graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1994 with his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD). Upon graduating from Temple, Dr. Leardi began treating patients in a large dental practice in Media, Pennsylvania.
After practicing for a few years, an opportunity presented itself in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, which is where he opened his own family dentistry practice on December 1st, 1998. He started with two dental chairs, a sterilization area, and a few patients who had followed him. His practice has since continued to grow.
Dr. Leardi credits this to the wonderful staff whom he has the pleasure of working with and who share his goals. The goal of Dr. Leardi’s team is to provide their patients with the finest dentistry available. Dr. Leardi is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and averages over 35 hours of continuing education per year.

My name is Mary Pat and I have 26 years of dental experience. I’ve worked in pediatrics and family practice. For six years I worked in downtown Washington D.C., two blocks from the White House, which was very exciting! I’ve been with Dr. Leardi for 8 and a half years, and started out as a patient. I attended the University of Cincinnati in my hometown and am the proud mother of two children, Griffin and Maggie. I like being in the dental field because we make people smile! My best dental tip to my patients: Floss, floss, floss!
Hello, my name is Steph. I started here in 2009 and love working at a dental office. I grew up in this area and live in Kennett with my husband and three girls. In my free time I love to spend time with my family. Preferably, at the beach! I also like to garden, travel and go for runs with my running buddies. This a great place to work because of the nice patients and great staff. I like being in the dental industry because teeth are important! People seem happier when they leave our office with a clean, beautiful smile.
I’m Virginia and joined Dr. Leardi’s practice several years ago, after attending Dental Careers Institute’s training program in Kennett Square. I enjoy working with people and believe taking care of your oral health is very important. I want to help in the maintenance of people’s smiles. I am married and have six wonderful children; the two youngest are twin girls, and 4 boys. I live in Lancaster County.
In my spare time I like to exercise, catch up on my reading and spend time with my kids, watching their sports events. My best dental tip to patients is to keep a regular hygiene routine going at home. It helps keep cavities to a minimum and definitely see a dental hygienist for cleaning twice yearly.
Hello, my name is Jacquie. I have been with Dr. Leardi as a Dental Assistant for many years. I graduated from St. Marks High School, took some pre-law courses, and then went on to graduate from Dental Tech’s program for Dental Assisting. A certification in radiology for the State of Pennsylvania is also part of my training. I am married to Dr. Michael Fitchett, a chiropractor, and we live in Nottingham with our son Lucas. We have 2 other children as well. Our daughter, Dr. Jenna Fitchett-Ennis, is in practice with her father, and our son Tim lives in Portland, Oregon. I love boating on the Chesapeake Bay, and attending mixed martial art events. I enjoy being in the dental industry because I learn something new every day. I truly love our patients. It’s like seeing friends everyday! My best dental tip to my patients: Invest in an electric toothbrush and floss!
Hi, I’m Danielle. I have been interested in dentistry for as long as I can remember. I have been working with Dr. Leardi’s office for about 5 years. The environment is truly wonderful. It is a place that cares about each and every patient that enters the office. Since I first mentioned my interest in the dental field, the staff continues to provide educational hands-on experiences for me to grow. I graduated from Unionville High School in 2009. I am currently a student at Harcum College studying Dental Hygiene and also taking additional classes to become an EFDA. I love working in the dental field because I believe people’s smiles make them confident. My dental tip to the patients is to invest in an electric toothbrush!
Hello, my name is Patty and I am Dr. Leardi’s Office Manager. I have a B.A. in Business Administration and Fashion Merchandising from Immaculata. I’ve been in the dental industry for many years, and only with Dr. Leardi. Previously I worked for 13 years in Divisional Senior Management for Bloomingdale’s.
I really enjoy the office environment at Dr. Leardi’s. The great thing about being in the dental industry is we teach and educate patients on their dental care, which helps their overall healthcare. I am happily married for 25 years, have four wonderful children, and currently live in West Grove, PA. In my spare time, I love being with my growing, active family. I also like gardening, walking two miles a day and practicing the art of photography.
Hi, my name is Carolee and I am new to the team and the field of dentistry. My background includes administrative positions in both the retail and restaurant industries. Hello, my name is Diana Alvarez-Calderon. I have been a patient since 2012 and in April of this year (2017), I was thrilled to join the Leardi Family Team in the front office. I have a BA in Spanish from the University of Hawai’i, Manoa, from a prior life as a military dependent. I have 3 great kids, a daughter, 23 and 2 sons, 20 and 16, respectively. As a stay-at- home mom and then, a part-time Spanish Teacher at a private school in Bucks County, I have enjoyed this new adventure with great colleagues and wonderful patients that I see every day. In my free time, I love to spend any time available in Chincoteague, VA with my family, friends, and the natural beauty of such a special place. My dad is from Peru, so I also enjoy traveling to spend time with my extended family whenever possible.
Hi, my name is Jane. I have been in the medical and dental fields for over 25 years. I have a B.S. degree in Hotel and Food Service from Penn State University, but alas have not worked in that field since graduation. I just enjoy cooking gourmet meals on occasion and experimenting on my family with new recipes. The work environment at Leardi Family Dentistry is great and it is so rewarding to see finished results on patients who have had major dental work done. I am married to Robert George, and we have lived in the Kennett area for over 25 years. We have four grown children and four terrific grandchildren. In my free time, in addition to cooking, I enjoy knitting, reading, and taking care of 50 orchids!
